The URANTIA Book, a revelatory text published in 1955, anchors our teachings alongside the growing frontier of new thought and consciousness science.

The foundations of our faith
One God, One Planetary Family
Besides striving for planetary brotherhood and sisterhood, we realize that we are also universe citizens, who are part of a vast Cosmic Family.
A personal, living God
The common divine origin of all truth, beauty, and goodness.
A loving Father-Creator who is knowable, present, and infinitely near through the Spirit Fragment of the Father residing within all of us.
The immortal, evolving soul
Our souls are eternal — housed for a time in material bodies, but not defined by them. When this life is complete, the soul continues its journey of growth and ascension toward God. Death is not an ending. It is a transition.

What is The URANTIA Book, and how does it fit our faith?
The URANTIA Book is a spiritual text first published in 1955. It is not a secret document. It is widely available in print and online, has a global readership and is available in more than 25 languages, and has been the subject of serious academic study. Its longest and most widely-read section is one of the most detailed accounts of the life of Jesus ever written, covering years of his life not addressed in the Gospels.
In The URANTIA Book's cosmology, our planet is referred to as "Urantia," the name used in the celestial realms for Earth. When our community uses this word, we simply mean Earth. "Urantian" means earthly, human, of this world.
We understand The URANTIA Book to expand upon the truths found in the Bible and other sacred texts, coordinating spiritual truths with scientific facts — what we define as "Ascension Science."
