Who We Are

GCCA is a Jesusonian new-thought faith community — a cutting-edge spiritual organization rooted in new epochal revelation and committed to building an entirely new culture of conscious, sustainable, and spiritually-integrated living. Founded in Sedona in 1989, we have grown into a living, breathing spiritual ecosystem spanning Tucson, Sedona, and the Rio Rico/Tubac corridor in southern Arizona.

We are not fundamentalists, and we are not bound by conventional Christianity. We are stewards of a new epochal revelation — seekers who understand Christ not as a figure frozen in history but as a living cosmic reality whose teachings, when truly embodied, have the power to transform the individual soul and the world around that soul. We study The URANTIA Book and other religious texts alongside the emerging frontiers of new thought, consciousness science, and holistic wellness — because we believe science and spirit are not in conflict, they are converging. We call this Ascension Science.

We are also builders — and what we are building is entirely new. Not a church. Not a commune. Something the world has not yet had a clear model for: a thriving, fully-integrated culture of spiritual living, where the way we grow food, raise children, create art, govern ourselves, care for the sick, and tend the land are all expressions of the same unified spiritual consciousness—a society rooted in love, guided by revelation and Spirit, and oriented toward the eternal.

We tend the earth, we tend our souls, and we tend to each other’s needs. That is the experiment. That is the calling.
